Fundraising Ideas

You may already have your
own ideas on how you would like to raise funds but if not, have a look at the list below for inspiration:

dress-down day - (at work or school)

cake sale - take cakes to work
or school and sell them

tea party - invite 10 friends round for afternoon tea and charge them for attending

sponsored silence - ideal for children!

car wash - organise a team to wash cars at a suitable venue - perhaps ask the local fire station for help or the use of their premises

organise a master class -
find
a friend with a special skill, maybe an expert bread maker, flower arranger, cake decorator - and charge friends to attend a talk or class

treasure hunt - either on foot or by car - choose a theme, maybe local history and devise a trail. Ask friends to look after chosen locations to pass on clues 

or Get sponsored - to take
part in an event which is already organised.

or Not sure what to ask for for your birthday? Always receive socks? Well this year, why not do something different and donate your birthday to My Voice London. 

or Do you have unwanted gold, silver, costume jewelleryand watches? Damaged necklaces, broken bracelets an odd earring?  If so, then why not recycle it and turn it into much needed cash for My Voice London.

We have joined up with www.jewelleryrecycling.org to help boost our funds and benefit the environment.  All the jewellery donations are hand sorted and the valuable pieces are sold on with the damaged items broken up and melted down with the residue and sold to a specialist scrap merchant.  We receive a donation for all items sent in.

To recycle your jewellery be it a single donation or to hold a collection with friends, please contact us for your jewellery recycling envelopes.

How to pay in funds raised:

Sponsored events can be promoted on the Justgiving website: www.justgiving.com  Set up your own fundraising page and email the link to all your friends and relations.

Send sponsorship money
(by cheque or postal order payable to My Voice London) to: My Voice London, 17 Rodney Place, London SW19 2LQ

We'll write to acknowledge your hard work and can even send you a certificate as a token of our gratitude!
